Seltek is a leading manufacturer of measurement and control systems for flat products industries.

Seltek is a leading manufacturer of measurement and control systems for flat products industries. Special sensors based on isotope and x-ray sources are used to measure thickness, basis weight or ash content. Near infrared (NIR) sensors are used to measure moisture and thickness.

Systems
Seltek Quality Measurement and Control Systems (QCS) can accomodate up to 6 scanning frames and 24 sensors. Each scanner can have up to 6 sensors. Scanners can be run in ‘’same spot measurement’’ mode for critical processes employing differential measurement solutions.

DESIGN, MANUFACTURING, INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING

Seltek is engaged in the design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of process measurement and control systems for continuous web product industries such as metal rolling mills, paper mills, cast film lines, PVC calenders and so on.

REPORTING

Process parameters like thickness, basis weight, moisture, ash content, color are measured with special sensors without contacting the web. Measured parameters are displayed both in numeric and in graphic form on a Windows® PC. They are also saved in a Microsoft® SQL database. This data is available to the user both as a special report and as an Excel® file.

MACHINE DIRECTION & CROSS DIRECTION CONTROLS

Machine direction and cross direction controls are also available when required. Special cross direction actuator systems can be provided in case of need.
